The rational of this business model stems from the fact that the total cost of your eyewear mainly consists of items that have nothing to do with the professional cost for testing your eyes (eye test). The bulk of the total cost you pay for your glasses relate to items like material costs that are also influenced by overhead costs related to running a physical store (such as rental cost etc). These other costs, other than cost of your eye test, could even be more than 80% of your total bill.
Having put together a team of specialists in Supply Chain Management and our inhouse Optometrists we are able to optimise and reduce these non-professional costs to your benefit.
